Carlisle Cullen

Carlisle is the best example of a 'good monster'. He determinedly overcomes his thirst, so that he can follow his passion - medicine. He falls in love with dying girl (who was trying to commit suicide) and changes her into vampire - Esme. they both cannot have kids, but they 'adopt' Edward, Alice, Rosalie and Jasper, as Carlisle vampifies these 4 dying souls to save their lives.
