Jasper was born in Texas in 1843. His creator was a woman called Maria, he was 20 when he was c hanged and he spent the first 83 years of his new vampire life fighting for 'territory' in the south of America. In his previous life he was a young Major working for the Confederate Army and became a Vampire during "work." One reason for all his pain is because of the way he lived, on human blood, at the first stage of his 'vampire-osity' before he joined the Cullens!!!
He is a young intelligent vampire. He is the youngest member of the Cullen family and so he always looks like he's in pain unlike the others of the family. He is madly in love with his partner Alice and luckily she feels the same about him. Just like all the other vampires he is GORGEOUS looking with white skin. He has the ability to control peoples' emotions whether they are happy, upset or even furious! Jasper and Rosalie both took the last name Hale because they could be considered twins.
